Pastor Rob Pacienza's
Pastor Rob Pacienza is the Lead Pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Born in southeastern Pennsylvania, Pastor Pacienza moved to Fort Lauderdale when he was in middle school. At the age of 15, while on a mission trip with Coral Ridge, he heard the gospel for the first time and it changed his life. Pastor Pacienza came home and shared God’s Good News with his family. Later that year, they joined the church and he began attending Westminster Academy. Pastor Pacienza met his future wife, Jen during the new student orientation.
Pastor Pacienza's first job started right at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church pulling cable for the cameras on Sunday mornings. God used the ministries of Coral Ridge and Westminster to shape his life, his calling, his family, and his future. Both Pastor Pacienza and his wife were blessed with incredible pastors, teachers and mentors.
Pastor Pacienza attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated with a BA in Religion. In his freshman year, he was hired by the Campus Pastor to oversee Samford Sunday, a campus ministry that commissioned students to preach in local churches across the state of Alabama. His summers were spent interning with the Student Ministry at Coral Ridge.
After graduation, Pastor Pacienza and his wife were married and called back to South Florida to lead the Student Ministry at Rio Vista Community Church. Rob served the students there until he became their Executive Pastor in 2007.
In 2009, Pastor Pacienza and his wife answered the call to “come home” to Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, first serving as the Inreach Pastor and eventually as the Executive Pastor. It was their desire to return to the place that was so influential on their calling to ministry.
On March 13, 2016, Pastor Pacienza became Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church's Lead Pastor. He became the church's third pastor in it's 59 years of ministry to the people of Fort Lauderdale and beyond.
He has seen firsthand God do incredible things through Coral Ridge. Rob’s desire is to shepherd this congregation into a new season of faithful and fruitful ministry.
He prays that Coral Ridge will be a place of hope and rest for the people who live in our city – a beacon of light in the midst of darkness.
Pastor Pacienza graduated from Knox Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity.
Pastor Pacienza and his wife have three children—Preston, Lydia, and Lilianne.
